OUR IDENTITY AND BELIEFS
At Eastgate Baptist Church we desire for people to understand the Scriptures. We have this desire because by knowing the truth it will teach all generations of people about belief and what it means to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
These are the essential beliefs that unify us as believers and as a church that seeks to follow the truth of Jesus Christ. While these beliefs do not include everything that we seek to understand about life, faith, and God, the essential beliefs are the central core teachings of the Bible.
These essential beliefs are detailed from the statements of the Baptist Faith& Message as adopted most recently in 2000.
